Jan de Jonge
Founder/Managing Director
Jan is a business psychologist with some 20 years’ experience in business psychology consultancy. He set up People Business Psychology Ltd. in 2012.
Jan has a strong experience of engaging with individuals and teams at all levels. From senior management to graduate trainees, his expertise encompasses selection, assessment, development, performance, executive and senior-management-level coaching. Besides clients in the UK and mainland Europe, his work has taken him to several countries in the Middle East and Asia – and will soon see him seeing his first clients in the USA.
Within the fascinating field of organisational psychology, Jan has a particular interest in the interplay between individual ability, performance, personality, leadership effectiveness and style, emotional intelligence and organisational culture.
Jan received his psychology MA degree from the University of Amsterdam before completing post-graduate training in assessment and development management consulting. Jan is qualified to levels A and B in psychometrics and has a post-graduate diploma in talent management / business-psychology consulting.
A published author and regular blogger on a range of subjects from a psychological angle, Jan is also a Principal Practitioner of the UK-based Association of Business Psychologists (ABP) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the IoD (Institute of Directors) and the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses).
